LIAR BY JUSTINE LARBALESTIER
I am going to begin this blog by talking about Tayshawn and that he really did not know a lot about death. The teacher Yayeko Shoji, talked about death and how the body decomposes. It really grossed all the students out, but poor Tayshawn just did not know how or what really happens when you die. But after Ms. Shoji talked about it and broke it down , piece by piece not only did Tayshawn understand, but so did I ! Well, enough about that, let's get back to Micah. I tell you, if lying could get her rich, Donald Trump would have nothing on her ! During class one day, the police were at the school interviewing all of the seniors, and it became Micah's turn. Now, we all know that Micah and Zach were secretly seing each other, or at least they thought noone knew, the police took her to the Art room to question her. They had Ms. Shoji there as supervision for the seniors that they questioned. When the police asked Micah if she knew Zach, she said no. Now why would she say she did not know him if she had nothing to hide? She claimed she only knew him from the classes they had together. Now i don't know about you, but that makes me very suspicious of her. If the police are questioning all of the seniors, does she not think that someone might tip off the police that she and Zach were sneaking around with each other after school ? You know, someone like Brandon? Well, i will continue to keep you posted each week, because this book is very interesting now that i got the hang of it. I must not forget that Micah lead everyone to believe that her dad was an arms dealer! The lies just keep coming and growning. Like the old saying says, :Oh what a web we do weave " ! So , i will keep you informed on how everything turns out, see ya next time .

"Web" is a good word to describe the layers of lies that are woven through the book.
ReplyDeleteWhen you get to the halfway point, you're going to have to resist updating the class on the plot. :)
